Midium Desktop
Midium Desktop is free. It includes chat, local sub-agents, Studio, and one personal Vault. Any model your hardware can run. Local inference and your personal Vault stay on your machine by default. Connectors only send what you point them at. Runs on 16 GB. 48 GB recommended for the best models. That applies to sub-agents and Studio on Apple Silicon. Download.
Dedicated capacity
Dedicated capacity starts at $444/mo (Starter). Standard is $589/mo. Max is $2,149/mo. Ultra is $3,400/mo. A Hub license is $200/mo for a Mac mini (64 GB memory or less) and $500/mo for a Mac Studio (more than 64 GB memory). No per-seat pricing. Unlimited Vaults. One bill.
Cloud
Cloud is per million tokens on the same OpenAI-compatible API. Build there, then move production to dedicated capacity when volume or privacy says so. Prompts and generated responses are not retained. If you spend under roughly $500 a month on metered AI and don't need shared context, stay on tokens.
Vaults
A personal Vault is free in Midium Desktop. Shared Vaults come with dedicated capacity or a Hub license. Agents read and write them over MCP. Cloud context is not used for training. Local Vaults stay on the device.
