Install Midium Desktop, run a model, and point Cursor at a local sub-agent.

Cursor

Point Cursor at a local Midium sub-agent. Runs on 16 GB. 48 GB recommended for the best models. Midium Desktop exposes local models over MCP. Local inference and your personal Vault stay on your machine by default. Connectors only send what you point them at.

  1. Install Midium Desktop and open Sub-Agents.
  2. Start the local model you want Cursor to call.
  3. In Cursor, add the Midium MCP server, then ask it to run the repetitive step on that model.
